My last bottle, and the best yet. Wife is out with a friend so I mesquite-grilled a strip just for me. This wine is perfect with it. It’s not overdone at all. Cassis, gravel, graphite, cedar in the nose. On the palate, the tannins are nearly fully resolved. Dry, with dark berry fruit, and savory olive-and-iodine-tinged flavors. Pretty nice concentration. Good acidity. Nice finish. Just solid. This was a great value when I picked it up several years ago.

Oct 20th, 2019A Napa Valley Cab to accompany a mesquite grilled steak and, hopefully, a Sox sweep of the Spankees. This is very open and balanced, though not particularly deep. Lots of cassis and graphite in the nose. Dark berry fruit, and savory, olivey, smoky flavors. Nice balance.

Beautiful cab. Opened up after about an hour of decanting - very polished and smooth. Perfect balance. This wine should age well. Long way to go. Stood up great to mountains of meat @ Fogo de Chao. Revisited 11/21/19 -rating affirmed.
