This is excellent! Love it. — 5 years ago
Fun night with the Licks! The others preferred the COHO Headwaters 2013 paired w/grilled lamb chops & blueberry pie. Also broke in our new fire pit with pizza and a bottle 7/9. Just ordered a case! — 8 years ago
Found a 2010 Vintage hidden in the rack second row of the cellar. Still a great drink with strawberries and rhubarb for a Caprese salad on sourdough and grilled fresh Coho salmon in Orange juice, mustard, garlic and Crystal hot sauce marinade. — 9 years ago
Just great juice.
After a good decant the Old Poodle Dog Cab (from Coho wines- a serious favorite) opens to a plush & sweet little beauty. A bright nose of cherries and some lavish oak roll onto the palate with an open and lively character. All-in, the Old Poodle Dog is a friendly, juicy Napa Cab that can be (thoroughly) enjoyed this very moment with a little bit of a decant and a juicy cheeseburger. — 10 years ago
2021 vintage. Nice Sauvignon blanc that fits very well with a coho salmon steak from the air fryer. Would buy it again as an excellent alternative to oyster bay. — 5 months ago
In denial about really liking this Chardonnay. Drank at Coho on our San Juan getaway. — 5 years ago
Not sure why other ratings are so low. Very nice, a bit mineral, but fruity. I had it with coho salmon. — 6 years ago
Coho Red Blend not the merlot. But liked it. — 8 years ago
Fantastic, easy, smooth red blend that only got better with time. It has a sweetness that makes me believe it would be the kind of wine that one should serve to a person who has only ever liked sweet wines, but secretly desires to broaden his/her palette. I've had 2 bottles of this, and very much look forward to drinking a third! 14.8% ABV. — 9 years ago
Seek this. Amazing depth. Great fruit and acidity. Well made. Served with coho salmon and loads of butter and chives. — 11 years ago
Nearly black in glass with no variation; blood when underlit. Nose shows rich black currant, cassis, licorice and espresso notes accented with violet and pecan; Black cherry and tobacco peek through cinnamon and nutmeg. Sensuous. Heavier mouthfeel shows focused blackberry, prune and mocha, coffee liqueur and vanilla bean, powerful tobacco and a soft cedar. Tannins well integrated, and resonance unparalleled with dark fruits washing like an ocean at night.

Nice biodynamic “baby Vosne” - slightly darker fruit profile and relatively generous tannins. The warm vintage contributes a ripeness to the fruit character, verging on slightly jammy, yet there is still wonderful acid and a lightness of body. The structure here will likely allow this to age gracefully for the next 5 years or so. Looking forward to revisiting. Paired on night one with spiced roasted coho salmon and night two with a green coconut vegetable curry. Did well both nights. — 6 years ago
What a color on this. Like a deep Alaskan Coho Salmon. Gorgeous. This is sick. Just sick. What a nose. What first strikes you is the vividness of the fruit. The clarity. The depth. Gorgeous and so voluminous. There is also some brioche and gorgeous toastiness. Amazing. Hints of blood orange, ripe raspberry, gorgeous spice and a feeling of a German Christmas Market. Stunning. Palate is elegant above all and so pure. Fresh, fresh, fresh but also yeasty, long and texturally stunning. Sneaky persistence. More of that Xmas spice comes across on the palate and the sensation of a building, ever expansive finish. There is a spice cake element that echoes forever on the finish. A wispy, elegant, intensely restrained bottle of German bubbles. Terrific. — 7 years ago
i enjoyed this after letting sit out a bit definitely a different finish then pinot noir's we drink — 9 years ago
Third bottle of the night and the second time I've had this wine. Honestly, it didn't stand-up like it did before. Maybe it's because it follow Opus Overture and a 2010 Coho Headwaters. Very good wine, but tonight it felt less refined, over Oaked, and spice / tannins that weren't as well integrated as I would have hoped. — 10 years ago
A little sweet but very tasty and smooth, no mineral after taste. — 11 years ago
