Dried dark cherry, singed cedar and balsa wood, cinnamon and dried herbs. Tannins are in check. This is very well done and lived up to the hype as nouveau Alto Piedmonte producers.

Good but not special Nebbiolo blend. Much spicier than a Barolo due to the Vespolina, which dominates the finish with strong pepper notes. Much more acidic than Nebbiolo made in neighboring regions, the wine is good with pizza or pasta in red sauce. If it were less expensive it would be a good choice for casual meals.

Very true nose, enlightened and elegant, tastes slightly on the modern side but retains authenticity and individuality.
