Really dark, beautiful, almost black garnet color. Perfect hint of cinnamon and chai. Soft tannins and just the right amount of dark fruit made this a huge hit as we passed around a tasting glass. Even some white wine drinkers asked for a pour. Lacking somewhat on the nose, or I would rate this even higher. I think we opened this vintage at exactly the right time!
