Conte Ferdinando Guicciardini
Le Terre di Poppiano Chianti Sangiovese Blend
Chianti, Tuscany, Italy
nose shows: earth, dried sage, black tea, licorice and red cherry...tasting adds red plum, wood... fresh, young, fruit-forward.... almost more pinot noir seeming than sangiovese. good value.

2013. Tar and stones. Firm finish. Sour cherry and classic chianti sandalwood on palate. Underbrush. Nice tannin work.

Apr 29th, 20152013 vintage. Good quality wine for €5. A bit rough around the edges, but good with a meal. Would buy it again.
