Due to warm terroir and extreme diurnal shifts, even a Cupcake Chardonnay can be rich and fruity, with balancing acidity rarely sourced from elsewhere. Yellow apple, baked pear, ripe meyer lemon and apricot, pineapple and mango. White flowers, honeysuckle. Buttery, low earth, toffee, vanilla, toast and pie crust.

Crisp, a little rounded but still bright. Slight aroma of damp towels. A lot of different flavors, citrus, vanilla, spices I can't place and a fruit I can't place. Apricot? Became very buttery as it warmed up.

Jul 27th, 2016For bulk wine, good. Good enough to be the Chardonnay you have strapped by dumpsters in the alley outside of work, while others are on their cigarette break. I'd always gladly refer back to this Chard w/o to much worry about self-preservation.

Dec 24th, 2015would pair well with crab cakes. there is a very distinct butter cream flavor and aroma but the citrus lightens it out so it is not too heavy. Not my first choice for a Chardonnay but good for a cheap wine
