Past prime. Well past. Maybe a bad bottle but cork was pristine and provenance was mine (flawless, duh). Kinda raisin wine. Like mid 2000s parkerized CdP. Drink up. Serve with "friends". Rats!

Loads of dusty fine-grained tannin and acidity. Fennel, cocoa, light leather. Cabernet fruit has fallen to the background. Better second day.

When I drew the cork I knew I was off to a great start. This wine has open up beautifully, very soft tannins, with a great finish. Perfect wine for a nice dinner on a cold night.
