In great shape and drinking at peak. Deep dark purple in color. Dark cherries, black pepper, and slight meat on the nose. Addition of a bit of dark chocolate on the palate. Tannins still grippy, but in balance. Full body. All in all, a great Chianti Classico. A wonderful accompaniment to valentine's dinner!
