Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc

Dog Point Vineyard combines experience of Ivan and Margaret Sutherland & James and Wendy Healy. Ivan and James met while working at Cloudy Bay Vineyards. Light straw with typical SB aromas adding a touch of smoky mineral character. On the palate melon and grapefruit with lemon/lime notes, generous acidity, great mouthfeel with lingering finish ending with an earthy tone. Exceptional value!

Grapefruity

Wet cloth, dirty smell mixed with vegetal green peppery, apple, pear, overripe stone fruits like peach or mango. Palate is better than smell

Super crisp and bitter citrus. One for the summer.

Smoked cheese rind, cat pee, cashew, green melon, and flint. Round, creamy transitioning to rip your face acidity. Lime zest and wet stone carry through on the finish.

On point. Fruity and not too acidic. Like I said - on point!

Strong scent of grapefruit and peach. Very tasty!

Smelled to my like honeysuckle. Has a good amount of acid but to me almost has too much “sweetness”.

Really well balanced with subtle fruit, low acidity.

Opened the night with a classic NZ Sauv Blanc. Crazy petrol nose but it drinks with bright acidity, pear and green apple. Paired this with a citrusy ceviche and the results were perfect.
