Dampt killed in 13. Ripe nose with loads of seashells and oyster shells. Really jumps out of the glass. So classic. While 14 ages I think 13 and 12 are where it's at. Delicious and ripe palate with terrific purity. Long and juicy. Amazing mid palate and such nice saltiness on the finish.

Dampt made killer 13's. Just nailed the vintage. Minerals, seashells, apple skins, on the nose. Lively rich texture, but nice acidity, soft but present and works so well within the context of the vintage. Really elegant with lovely minerality. A great drink on a humid day.

beautiful mineral nose of oyster shells, salt and some lime zest and green apple skin. Big, juicy and just frigging delicious with nice salinity, juicy fruit and staying power on the finish. Really like how 13's have been developing. Good acid. Much better and more apparent acid than on release.

While the Lechet is more seashell/tidal wave, the Vaillons is more spicey, exotic and perfumed. Terrific confectionary sugar on green apple really leap out of the glass. Bitter lime. Very aromatic. Palate is layered, deep and complex with nice finishing and structuring acidity throughout. Nice fruit pith on the finish. Terrific.
