Lemon custard, apples, mineral, integrated oak, rich and broad but tart at the same time. A lot of SO2.

Such an over performer. Took 90 minutes and could've used more.

A classic, I have had this about 6 times now and love it every time! Classic Graves scorched earth and toasted coffee bean notes.

Deeper ruby , redder thinner ruby rim . Quite round and rich , inviting , earthy dark cherry , spicy blackberry notes , touch of tobacco and dark chocolate. On the palate this is also riper and richer , though with a mix of red and dark fruits , cassis , raspberry, cherry , red plum . Round sweet tannins , balanced acidity , a bit more alcohol perhaps and slightly sweeter medium length finish. Still quite young and fruit driven , probably will enjoy another 10 years of prime drinking . Quite generous and plump in personality , but still balanced with enough freshness and polished tannin

A really elegant and balanced wine from a classical vintage. Lots of potential but decanted 45 minutes before it was very drinkable. It has the acidity and freshness of the 65% cab sauv but also the flesh of those 30% merlot. Really great wine and highly recommended.

Ruby centre and a quite narrow rim just bordering on garnet. Large tears. Blackberry , blackcurrant, cocoa , coffee and spice . Very nice and inviting on the nose . In the mouth there is a round black fruit core , cocoa, tobacco and mineral notes . Large tannin , but fine and also ripe . Balancing acidity , long finish. Too young really though just about drinking, it is a user friendly wine , but will without a doubt improve over the long term .
