Domaine de Fa
Roche Guillon Fleurie Gamay

Blind, thought it was burgundy. Does have subtle carbonique character.

Much softer and lighter than the ‘15 but with excellent, subdued energy. Bright, round red fruits with excellent length and minerality. Delicious and all too easy to drink.

Alain Graillot's kids' domaine. Very bright and racy, lean and focused. Red fruited with a tense mineral backbone. Just a tad hollow - needs food to show its' stuff, nonetheless engaging with a playful personality. Value is just ok, one can do better price-wise but no complaints really.

Could confuse for a Langhe. More pepper than your typical Fleurie. Highly structured with red fruit.

Juicy and tart, a slight bit of tannins.
Consumed over two days, showed best on day 1 around cellar temp.
