Nose of macvin. Palate is salty, oxidized, calvados, sherry, Bartlett pear, medium finish. Brilliant opening and mid-palate, only the finish comes up short. #jura

Cloudy, medium gold. Nose is dominated by aggressive oxidation. Palate mostly bruised apples, butterscotch, overripe apricots and a not entirely pleasant note of rancid almonds. + acidity and a long bitter finish. I normally enjoy Jura wines but this one is a bit of a challenge.
