Menthol and red licorice notes on a tight core of focused red fruit. Not very expressive yet; needs time. 5/6 '10 Burg.

Bright high toned aromatics. Sour cherry attack, pomegranate plum skin mid palate. Long pretty finish. Really open for '10.

Dusty tannins with ripe dark fruit. Tension for days. Integrated sweet new oak. A joy to drink.

Nice complex and elegant nose, lots of spices, the palate te follow suit, power and elegance, good balance and length. Great in this vintage and bought at the price then, recent vintages are very expensive. 92-93

Beau nez, très épicé, complexe, bouche puissante et élégante, équilibrée et une très belle longueur. Très bon, surtout au prix d’antan sur cet excellent millésime. 92-93

2010 vintage. At 1947 restaurant, Cheval Blanc in Maldives. Medium ruby hue. Fabulous nuanced nose - crushed raspberry, fresh black cherry, floral and hints of leathery notes. Flinty stone minerality. Evolving in the glass. Very complex. In the palate, medium plus acidity, medium minus body, medium alcohol, medium minus fine tannins. Concentrated. Long long satisfying finish. Excellent. Although young drinking exceedingly well now. A great Lambrays. Drink now until 2027+. Note to self: pop and pour. No need to decant or leave in the glass too long.
