Cuvée Georges de la Tour Syrah

A poor man’s St. Joseph (and I ain’t rich). Peppery, minerally, blackberry fruit scents are lifted and wafty. Mouthfilling but lean, if that’s a thing. Great acids.

Great value. Tastes like a high quality Saint-Joseph. Nose exudes pungent cracked granite and black peppercorns, and dark dry blackberry skins. A wee bit of baking spice. Rich, savory, intense flavors. Very pure and long. Very good acidity.

NV. Vin de France. Syrah. Juicy and ripe. Fantastic.

Delicious. Lots of black pepper on the nose. Intense red/black fruit sifted through stones. Very good Syrah.

Thanks again to Lyle Fass! Another great value. Fruit is there, but it's demure and not in your face. Balance is awesome with acids and tannins in great proportions with fruit.
