Somehow.....I get toasted marshmallow and then roasted cranberries on the nose. Hints of depth more often then Gamay usually shows. Firm palette. Firm tannin. Relaxes a little in the glass. Super delicious with hard cheese.

Eucalyptus, cedar, black pepper, and smoke. But on the palate bright black cherry and wild flowers. Yum!

Acid bomb, with great red berry fruit. Currants and raspberries? Nice tannins to tie it together. Excellent with a bit of a chill.

2012, Domaine des Pothiers, Côte Roannaise Gamay. One of my go to week night wines. Hell, any night. Lots of tart red fruit, good acidity and medium alcohol. Pairs with almost any meal.
