In a very quiet place - the 2014s are really starting to shut down. Lovely stony, lemony minerality with light spice, palate is very elegant and soft, with a little nerve. However I think now is the right time to start laying these GCs down for this vintage. Lovely things will be underway.

Jan 20th, 2018Full, round aromas of pear, flowers, saline minerality, and light lactic richness and oak at the front. Palate is round and structured, with generous acidity and minerality that compliments the fruit/oak backbone of the wine. Finish is long, elegant, and graceful, but still very tight in certain respects. This will be a long ager for sure. Opening it now would be a shame.
