Deep gold color. Initial note of oxidation quickly blows off, giving way to a lovely Roussanne nose of lanolin and yellow orchard fruit, along with a whiff of mountain stream. Broad and oily-textured, it got slightly bitter, intense flavors and great length. Probably because of the hot 15 growing season, this wine shows its relationship to the Roussannes of the Northern Rhône.

Palate is elite elegant tropicality. Perfect fruit mineral acid balance. So juicy.

Fresh, charming, dry with minerality, hint of pain de miel. Grape variety : Roussane! Who can tell it?!

Nose is dense and complex. Orange peel. A hint of peat.
Palate is rich but elegantly so. Not over the top like much northern rhone roussane. Very very precise without a hint of blowsiness. Just killer precise linear tropical fruit.
As for the vintage ? True artistes do not stoop to arithmetics.
