Iron, crushed rocks, pencil lead,
med-bodied, raspberry fruit and nice acid. A little light for a steak, but I really wanted to try this wine. The earthiness held up to the meal :)

May 21st, 2019Perfectly balanced organic French Bourgueil - paired with a braised chicken in a porter & thyme sauce with root vegetables. Love love, want another bottle!! Supposed to age well.

White pepper, jammy red fruits, some rubbing alcohol, and some sort of organic earth like a pile of leaves. More white pepper on palette, medium+ acid, medium tannins, long finish. Enjoyed this as a cheap, good food wine, less interesting to drink solo.
