La Souteronne Vin de Pays de l'Ardèche Gamay

One of the best Souhaut's I've had! Carbonic energy up front, a bit tart at the end. The middle is red fruit and funk.

Great gamey Gamay.

Last of the '12s. N. V. Always fun and bright.

Could be bottle variation or just an off bottle - but I liked the 2011 over the 2012.

2012. So pure.

Still in 💓 with this wine.

A little smoky upon opening but that dissipated within the first 15 minutes. Baking spices and cranberry on the nose and palate. This wine would kill at Thanksgiving.

After being open about an hour: This tanked fast. Palate almost completely dominated by Brett. Kind of a bummer--I was really enjoying this wine.
