The 2016 “Cuvèe Aux Petites Noix” pours a very pretty ruby color with a transparent core; medium viscosity with moderate staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of tart and ripe red fruits: raspberries, strawberries, cherry, and some warm spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. A lovely wine showing well in its early drinking window. To my palate, better after 2031 and through 2041.

Very dark rubi robe, nose of dark cherries, crushed flowers, asian spices and a hint of olives. Medium bodied, elegant and with lots of tension, spicy and with mature tannins, this is utterly delicious now but there is no rush. Enthusiastically recommended !
