Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of lunch. The 2010 “Les Falconnières” pours a garnet color with a transparent core; medium viscosity with light staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of ripe and slightly desiccated red fruits: strawberries, raspberries, red flowers, mushrooms, forest floor, warm spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long. This is in a really lovely spot. drink now through 2035. — 9 months ago
Lovely. Very fresh, cranberries, forest, a bit of tart berry, some funky earth. Overall a great value, probably a little better in a year or two. — 9 months ago

The 2016 “Cuvèe Aux Petites Noix” pours a very pretty ruby color with a transparent core; medium viscosity with moderate staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of tart and ripe red fruits: raspberries, strawberries, cherry, and some warm spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. A lovely wine showing well in its early drinking window. To my palate, better after 2031 and through 2041. — 8 months ago

2021 vintage. Medium-heavy body. The experience is sped up and comes rushing in terrifying quickly with this effort. NOT a chill red Burg. California stylistically. Riper. Fuller. Ruchots is located across the road from Grand Cru vineyards of Clos-De-Tart and Bonnes-Mares. This did not suck. 10.8.25. — 21 days ago
