Great wine. Much different than we normally try. Very robust. Paired well with duck/Veal we had tonight.

A bit ahead of its drinking window, but already drinking beautifully. Difficult to find older vintages right now though.

Huge amount of funk, game, and earth on initial opening. Much better and more integrated on day 3. Still a lot of earth but now some plums and flowers come through. Great with food.

Enjoyed but not blown away as expected to be. Tasted the GM of the southern Rhône GSM blend. Would be better with food than by itself as I had it.
