The most perfumed and floral of the reds. Also had some serious tannin, but a sensual mouthfeel. This wine needs time.

This is spectacular! In the glass it shows Dense, opaque purple with a slight Ruby toward the edge. The edge is also delicately thin. You can smell steel shavings, wet asphalt, wild BlackBerry and faint red roses. Very light bodied, evaporating off your tongue. The minerality show through still, with finish of boysenberry, wild berry and basil. Love love love this Cornas! Opened 9/26/15

Feminine Syrah, beautiful red fruit perfume that folds nicely into the cracked peppercorns, tar and game. Sexy, exceptionally balanced, long and healthy future in this wine.

Young and not showing much, but there's loads of upside potential here; dark, almost brooding fruit, framed by obvious yet refined tannins and cherry-ish acidity alongside minerality and spice create abundant interest on the constantly evolving finish.

A meaty and intense blue fruit nose with loads of green pepper and dark, lean fruit with iodine and iron. Vibrant, animalistic, meaty. Not as supple or long as some but excellent with the meat dishes.

Very easy drinkable in spite of some tanins. Low in character, though - can't find much flavours.
