Thought the french oak would overpower this wine even in the 08 but the wine is solid and balanced. Nothing to dislike here.

Warm and complex and comfortable in ways only Nebbiolo can. Great pairing with squab.

Most definitely an age worthy wine. Tannin structure is big but is balanced by good fruit and acidity.

Ripe, rich and structured, with toady oak additions, this already peaking version is drinking great at present. Lovely but dies not possess elegance matching the vintage.

Wow. Decanted 4 hours before food. Slow cooked lamb and this puppy. Or wolf. Or something. Power and grace, still some youthful oak but it's a wonderful thing. A little on the modern side of Barolo but I'm very ok with it. More please

This beauty is starting to strut its stuff. Still some gritty tannin but man o man the aromatics this one is popping are off the chain

Very aromatic and floral. Super ripe, concentrated flavours, a Barolo that has developed a certain rustic elegance.
