Not sure how I feel about this yet. Too massive. Too huge. Too everything. Oak not a prob. Expected more development and am not sure if it's coming. If this is it, it's unpleasurAble, if it falls apart now, it's useless, but if it's just monumentally slow to develops, this could be epic in 30 years.

It takes takes sixteen years for this wine to absorb the oak that they laid on it from this era. That said, it only got better over the next 24 hours. Lay this down for another 10 years, no problem in my opinion.

Red fruit and a bit of raisin. Tomato jam and oak. Sexy ass nose. Starts soft and red and then accelerates rapidly. Good acid. But wow! Tannins.... This wine is almost 20 but they're just too aggressive. I do think this would improve with another 10 years. Still grand with food.

Cherry and spice nose. Full bodied and tannins, but finish is very refined!
