Huge dollops of Meyer lemons on the nose. Palate displays biscotti and maple syrup. Huge textured finish, with a viscous mouthfeel. Extremely decadent. 15 - 20 years of runway in front of it.

Oct 26th, 2020Summer in full flight, and this Guigal decided to come along for the ride. Gives the appearance of 24kt gold in the glass.
Nose displays roasted almonds. and freshly baked bread. Palate is oily, viscous and dense. Marzipan and butterscotch give way to moderate acidity on the mid palate. Oak treatment is prominent, but in check. A tour de force from this producer.
