Gaining color w air, initally showing some brick/ruby. Then denser color, with a black core.
Very complex nose; truffle, dried chili, iron/mineral, concentrated black fruit liqueur.
Just delicious and more importantly so very elegant.

Beyond. Just in an amazing place right now. Bacon fat, black olive, sage, oregano, fresh tobacco and black fruit. Balanced and linear, not really palate coating. Very clean and energetic. Lots of length.

Fresh and bristling on the nose. All the lifted tartness of the voignier on the front. A little lacking in deep Syrah purity. Well crafted, but a little underwhelming.
