Jul 23rd, 2017I've been wanted to revisit this since first tasting it. So high toned and effusive. Fresh and brisk acidity with delicate tannins. I would never think this is Alicante and/or Spanish blind. Dripping with gobs of black raspberry and black cherry, perfume and roses, potpourri, sweet herbs,!lovely mineral backdrop. Hedonistic in its energy and character.

Feb 2nd, 2017Day 3 open: So much violet, lavender and purple flowers on the nose. Beautiful. There’s some spices, nutmeg, hint of pepper. Fruit is overpowered by the flowers on the nose, but maybe a touch of fig. The lavender transfers over. A bit much on day one, but more mellow now after a few days. There’s some white pepper and fig as well.
