2012 Vintage. 15.6% Alcohol. 58% Syrah, 18% Mourvèdre, 14% Grenache, 10% Petite Syrah. You can really taste in impact of 10% PS. It also add a deeper color. Huge red and blue fruits. Loved it.

Mar 28th, 20202010 Vintage. 15.7% Alcohol. 62% Syrah, 14% Mourvèdre, 12% Grenache, 12% Petite Syrah. No rough tannins from the Petite Syrah anymore. Lovely.

Mostly Syrah with Mourvèdre, Grenache, and Petite Syrah in descending order. 80% from Paderewski and 20% Catapult (never hoid of it). One of the more informative labels out there- gotta respect that. This wine has it all, wildflowers, earth, rich black fruit, and a little burnt Carmel. Very smooth after 30 minutes of air. 👍

Mar 21st, 2018My reward to myself for spending 5 hours turning a package of flat boards into a kitchen pantry for my in-laws 😃. Needed several hours to breathe and I may have to give them a decanter next Christmas 😃. Inky purple purple and a candy cherry nose, cherry vanilla & oak taste with spicy pepper finish. Smooth tannins but not as lush as older vintages. Going to try to keep the other 2012’s for a couple more years. Happy Christmas everyone.

Glad I've been buying from this Pasos Robles winery for about 10 years now. A Big Boy at 15.6 ABV, decanted 2 hours ahead. Pleasantly not an alcohol bomb. Fantastic nose. Dark dried cherry, dirt, licorice, iron. Very chewy.
80% Paderewski vineyard.
58% Syrah, 18% Mourvedre, 14% Grenache, 10% Petite Sirah. Imaginative blend!
