Riserva Rancia Chianti Classico Sangiovese Blend

Really elegant CCR in its prime.

Ruby with rich complex dark fruit aromas and enticing spices. On the palate berry and cherry flavors, oak and leather with pepper and floral spice. Well integrated soft tannins, long finish ending with mineral tones. Very nice!

Super complex and kept evolving. My favorite Chianti Classico Riserva.

One of the best examples of Chianti Classico you can find. Rich, pure Sangiovese with great depth and freshness.

Some wines restore your faith in humanity. This is one of those wines.

There is a lot going on here. Every component is still looking for a way to blend in. Quite tannic. Long finish. Clearly a bright future. I loved it already now and gave it the benefit of the doubt and pushed it into my 9.0 scoring.

Violets, spiced plums. Unity. Typical VA.
