Everyone has said pear, and I wholeheartedly agree. Acidity is too low for Chenin, and the finish has an oak-y, oleaginous character. I’m not sold, but I’m also not turning down a second glass to see how it develops.

Sumptuous. Has a Californian Chard feel. Made from 40 year-old Chenin vines it’s rich, full bodied with flavours of pear, Granny Smith apple, lemon and some almond on the finish. A really lovely wine. Recommend!

Clean sour apple, salty oyster shell, barnyard/loamy finish
A touch of oak, vanilla, but not the bad way
