We enjoyed this Alsatian blend from one of my favourite California producers with our mussels on NYE. 65% Pinot Gris, 32% Riesling, 3% Gewürztraminer - the nose is reminiscent of a hay ride in the fall while snacking on pears. The palate is sublime with flavours of apricot, lemon zest, Bartlett pear and a hint of petrol. Field Recordings is making some amazing wine.

Super delicious. Delicate floral and pear nose with mouthwatering acidity and plenty of pear, green apple, apricot and lemon zest. Paired wonderfully with a spicy Thai shrimp curry. Recommend!
