Needs to breathe a bit before it mellows out. The flavours are subtle.

My 800th review!
It's Friday! Let's welcome the weekend with a nice Cabernet.

Dark inky in color with a burgundy rim.

Big oaky nose with blackberries, sweet plums, cherries, figs, green pepper, smoke, black currants, lots of vanilla, wood, cola, licorice, black pepper and tobacco.

Full bodied and bold with medium acidity and great legs.

Medium finish with Hugh tannins and peppercorn.

So what did we have here? Lots of oak, tannins, cola, vanilla and fruit. Smooth, balanced, but not elegant, yet.

A great, Napa Cabernet replica, that is not expensive. This was too much, even for me, nonetheless, I really enjoyed it.

Needs 3 years in the bottle to get there, but I had it by itself. Would be awesome with a nice piece of fillet.

Doesn't need too long to be drinkable, but 90 minutes made it better.

14.2% alcohol by volume.
