Color me confused. If I tasted this wine blind, I could not place it, other than to say that it is fruit forward New World. Highly extracted with extremely dark stained tears and a slight red fruit nose with hints of eucalyptus cough drop. On the palate, I get a big mouthful of cherry cough drops and lots and lots of fruit. For me this wine has no sense of place: it's just another big forward red in a sea of big forward reds.

Tried to order a Grenache, then the guy sold me on this. Reasonably priced, good wine, but nothing that was ultra impressive. Should've been better to get his push I thought.

Mar 7th, 2015This 2012 Cab has rounded out nicely. Sweet Plum, black cherry, soft mocha, cassis. This wine is a smooth amalgamation of all this with medium tannins to carry it. Lovely Wine.

Flora is so good. Blackberries. Dark. Rich fruity. Never disappoints.

Had this wine at the Gallery. It's a big cab with strong oaky notes. Long finish...strong nose. Really enjoyed it!
