Just released to our wine club and tasting fantastic. Distinctly coastal, saline, mineral, lemon oil.

Sipping Fine Wine

As nursery owners in Bucks County, PA, Walt & Joan Flowers dreamed of combining their love of wine with their passion for agriculture and in 1989, they purchased 321 acres, in a ridge top above the Pacific on the Sonoma Coast. Bright straw yellow with aromas of tropical and citrus fruits, slight nutty tones. On the palate peach, melon and lemon zest pack a punch with sweet vanilla spice and some toasty nuts. Well balanced, a joy to drink. Long finish ending with some mineral characteristics.

Every bottle of the 2012 is great, but this one was particularly outstanding. Lemon curd, extremely bright acidity, a bit damp (is that a tasting note?)
Would love to have many more cases of this wine

Takes a fair old time to come out of its shell but when it does its a rather tastes butterball with notes of burnt butter, butterscotch and cinnamon. Could do with a bit more of an acidic spine on the palate but plenty of richness, rather decadent stuff

Always a treat. Never too buttery. Just right and well balanced.

Fresh ginger and green tree fruit. Bigger, richer and generally more intense than the SC. All of this while being more snappy and higher in acid. All older wente clone
