2012 Camp Meeting Ridge Pinot Noir
A ruby-red hue of medium intensity gives way to crimson at the rim of the glass. The nose is nuanced and intriguing with layers of black cherry, spicy blood orange, hibiscus, cedar forest floor and crushed stones. These elements carry over to the palate accompanied by clove, cardamom and nutmeg. Textured by fine-grained, whole-cluster tannins, the mouthfeel carries verve, precision and structure from the cool-climate, coastal acidity.
