Fire🔥🔥🔥 gotta double decant 4 to 8 hours ahead of time !! Integrated beautifully after a few hours. Dusty fruit still healthy acidity with nice tobacco and pepper note. Has years ahead of it. Love these 67s

Wow...really dark color..savory herbs, brown butter, beef jerky, dried red flowers, sage, lots of lively tannins still...what a treat!

1967: Average bottle. Showing maturity in the glass, in the nose, and on the palate. Not shot, simply a solid wine adding appropriately, yet not the plum one hopes for. More Tom Sawyer than Huck Finn. Some nice herbal notes, medium weight, buoyed by being next to the classier (today, anyway) 1974 at the same meal.

Wow - 1967 in perfect condition advanced Rusty fruit is forward Mushroom tar sensational brown spice - amaro like - Copious amounts of fruit to support all the mineral earth and age notes - I was going to decant this wine but tested it via Coravin - and will suggest that we pour straight from bottle as I just can't imagine it getting much better than this.

This wine will be featured today in my Barolo versus brucellosis vs Bordeaux blind tasting - I predict it will be a showstopper

Even more intense and tannic than the '71. Could use more time?!! Very solid, but wish there was a tiny bit more fruit to balance all the tannic-earthiness.

Dark, brooding, intense blue fruit. Loads of secondary notes. Great power and balance given its age. Quite drying tannins and good length
