I was put off by the color. It is thin and almost brownish. Not a beautiful ruby red. However, the flavor is developed with a hearty fall reminder. .No snappy tannin finish, just a woodsy afterglow. — 5 years ago

Glorious nose of ethereal cherries and heroic levels of spice. Lots of humidor aromas and cigar box. Awesome. Needs air for florals but hints developing. Palate is young but the quality is there. Juicy with great acids and some opulent amplitude in the mid palate with top notch finesse and terrific tannins and structure. Very ripe tannins But elegant all the way through. A great Barolo with energy for days. Nose is heavenly spices, tar, roses, oolong tea and dried leaves. Gorgeous nose. 9.7 nose. Palate has so much energy and depth. Perfectly ripe cherries and terrific complex minerals and sauce, ripe tannins. Unreal purity and length. An outstanding wine. — 7 months ago
