Showing a truly stunning bouquet of sweet berries complemented by dark spice and floral tones, which continued to gain depth in the glass, adding undergrowth, herbs and minerals. On the palate, it was focused with silky, medium-weight textures giving way the red and black fruits, licorice and spice, which lasted well into the structured finish. A core of red licorice played a bittersweet contrast through the close. This is a new wine for me, yet after this experience, I'm sure it will find its way into my cellar.
