Fratelli Alessandria
Speziale Verduno Pelaverga

Mid cherry red in colour - translucent in parts. Red fruits of raspberry and strawberry with peppery notes. Good value at $47AUD. Slightly bitter at the end - a great food wine as expected.

Spicy and fresh at the same time. Perfect Pizza wine. funky and bold but light and complex. Tastes like spicy melted Jello, but in a very very good way

Light transparent bright red with a touch of brown. Slightly more savoury than the other top Pelavergas I’ve tried. Lovely summer drinking (chilled/cool).

Spice explodes from the bowl...leads on the palate evolving into bright red fruits...lite and satisfying

A light & bright red. Pepper and chocolate on the nose, with a layer of cherry. Low on tannins with a prominent acidity.
