Very good representation of American Pinot Noir. Retains the high acidity, berry forward quality integral to the grape without the cushion of Syrah like Meomi. Oak prevalent on the nose with smoked creme brulee. A little spice.

2012 vintage really surprised me with ample dark cherry and berry fruit with great lift from sweet-tart acidity. This wine displays the acidity that makes Pinot so amazing. Some interesting notes of tobacco and fig. Very pretty wine.
