Surprisingly approachable. An elegant vintage with excellent concentration and relatively supple tannins. Damp mushrooms, forest floor, dried herbs and cranberry are fairly dominant but there is a faint florality emerging as well.

Lovely vivid aromatics of traditional liquorice, sweet tobacco, tar, violets, faint menthol with dark cherry and black raspberry fruit. To taste the wine is entirely approachable with resolves tannins and high but intergrated acidity.
