Beaujolais Nouveau Gamay

I’ve gotta say, with a bit of age, this is super fun. Fruit muted a “little”,banana, spice, medium minus tannin, hint of olive and great acid. Didn’t mean to hold it this long, but not sad about it :)

Ripe strawberry, raspberry and red cherry, bubble gum, purple flower, banana peels, juicy with some licorice note. Bright with Good acidity, med to med plus finish, med tannin. Bette than I expected.

Well...it is what it is. But it’s enjoyable with low expectations. I want to take a knife and spread this over toast.

The raspberry you expect but a bit darker, which was a good thing. As expected, drink ASAP.

Nice 2017 offering. Deeper red than previous years. Strawberry and perfume, good balance, medium length ending with sweet fruit notes.

Good red wine for holiday meals.

Much lighter than I usually enjoy but I would drink it again on a casual outing. Ping pongs between strawberry banana smoothie and strawberry pound cake with whipped cream. Dry and tart, light body and acidity. Would recommend to a white wine lover who is dabbling in reds.
