First Wine of the Harvest Beaujolais Nouveau Gamay

Darker than expected. Intense spicy carbonique fruit. Some mercaptans.

Nice and fruity as always, on the palate and nose. No cooking tonight!

A little bite on the tongue. After taste is okay. Not sure I would buy again.

Fairly one dimensional but solid for the price. Cranberry, raspberry and cherry. Easy drinking.

All Beaujolais lovers should try, at least once, the new vintage Beaujolais Nouveau. With no aging this wine is more fruity, sweeter & heavier than regular Beaujolais which, I prefer. But it’s fun to have this new harvest with pork , lamb or bea stew at least once a year and before the New Year.

Candy red, bubble gum. Fun flirty candy. Yum for what it is.

Strawberry, banana, bubble gum. My fave vintage of this holiday tradition so far!

Red berries on nose. Strawberry, blackberry, plum and leather with bright acidity and assertive tannins. Too tannic on its own, but excellent with Thanksgiving dinner
