Cinghiale. Love mascarello, but this needs more time, despite the hot summer in '09.

Dark, chocolatey nose. Strong, powerful, tannic, but retains a sense of smoothness. Definitely a 'masculine' wine as the Italians would put it.

Rain during picking in '06, this is significantly more developed than one would expect but nonetheless stilltastes as if it has many many years ahead of it. Not much tannin and the fruit is less pure than other vintages, but very tasty and has a sense of elegance. Savoury.
