Minimal fruit aromas with medium tannins. Not my style of Syrah. Also past its prime. It’s OK. Would want to try a newer vintage.

Big lush red mountain fruit, white pepper, Black currents, great acids. This is a very well balanced wine . You can drink it now or sit on it for a short period. I suggest drinking it now !!

Meaty wine. Caramel and tobacco on the nose (and a slight chocolate note). Also a little violet/floral background. Dark fruit (especially blueberry and blackberry), spice, floral notes on the palate. Good tannin and acidity. Great balance. Youthful still, but a well made wine. Long-ish finish as well.
