2013 vintage Deep purple to red, slight minty coolness on nose, cherry and some blackberry in mouth with round viscosity on finish. Good value though not much complexity

Smooth. Perfect on a cooler day. Was great with sirloin tips.

Inky in color with a purplish rim.

Light nose of black currants, cherries, strawberries, wood, licorice, earth, vanilla, vegetables, chocolates, spices and black pepper.

Medium plus in body with high acidity and long legs.

Bone dry on the palate, and tart, with cherries, pomegranate, strawberries, cranberries, earth, vanilla, cedar, graphite, dark chocolates, coffee, bell pepper, bitter herbs and peppercorn.

Tart finish with round tannins and pomegranates.

This 3 year old, is already on its way out. Not too much on the fruits side, and now it became very earthy.

This wine needs to be consumed while it's fresh. It reminds me a lot of a an inexpensive Merlot based Bordeaux.

Better with food, but I enjoyed it paired with the sunset, all by itself.

13.5% alcohol by volume.

Dark purple / inky in color with a short purplish rim.

Fruity on the nose with grape juice, blackberries, blueberries, plums, metals, oak, vanilla, licorice, wet stones, black pepper and spices.

Medium plus in body with nice acidity and great long legs.

Bone dry on the palate with blackberries, red currants, bell pepper, cherries, plums, dark chocolate, blueberries, pine, leather, licorice, spices, Cola and peppercorn.

Long finish with green, full tannins and tangy strawberries.

This is a nice yet simple Petite Sirah from California. Still young and a little bit unbalanced , but already Enjoyable by itself or with hearty food.
A unique blend of 86% Petite Sirah and 14% Pinot Noir.

I paired it with a beautiful view and a cheese plate.

Dark ruby in color with medium intensity and a purple rim .

Great nose of wild flowers, blackberries, blueberries, minerals, strawberries, cherries, vanilla, oak and black pepper.

Medium bodied with high acidity and nice legs.

Tart and dry on the palate with blueberries, cherries, strawberries, red currents, bitter vegetables, oak, vannilla, earth, olives and white pepper.

Medium finish with zero tannins and a bitter ending.

Nice petite Syrah but not a typical one. I had the 2012 before, which was much better. I think I held on this one a bit too long. I'm going to have to give the 2014 a try...
