In comparison to the Kathryn Hall, much more approachable now. More compacted. A combo of blackberry, cinnamon bread, and oak. Attacks the tongue with medium toast and a bit of toffee. Have not had a Hall wine that I haven't thoroughly enjoyed.

I drink plenty of Hall Cabs. This Alexander Valley Sonoma Cab is different. More of a mix of tobacco, black fruits, and dark herbs. Not as fruit forward but you'll get smokiness and a long finish. Higher alcohol content gives it a bite. This may be beautiful tomorrow. Stayed tuned.
