Cask A-9. Dried but still very fresh red fruit on nose and palate. Still very much alive with secondary notes of baking spices coffee leather

The dried fruit characteristics of Madeira meet the brambly, rough-around-the-edges quality of good Zinfandel. Not exactly epic, but a fun bottle.

Leather bound books that have been in a cedar chest for half a century. Still some fruit and great perfumed nose. At a discount too!

Great ullage, still hanging on. Minty, cedar, clove, sweet leather, high toned cherry. Lingers well. Lucky to have a good bottle!
